EUCAS (European Union Cattle Accreditation Scheme)
Angus Pastoral Co. own the largest EU (European Union) accredited herd in Australia. EUCAS is a program audited by Ausmeat and enforced by AQIS (Australian Quarantine Inspection System). Utilising lifetime traceability on the NLIS (National Livestock Identification System) database it provides assurance of the freedom of our product from HGP’s (Hormonal Growth Promotants).
NFAS (National Feedlot Accreditation Scheme)
The NFAS is an industry quality assurance scheme, initiated by ALFA (Australian Lot Feeders Association), which follows a self-regulatory framework to achieve set objectives:
"to develop a Quality System for beef feedlots that impacts positively on product quality and acceptability and for which the lot feeders maintain responsibility."
LPA (Livestock Production Assurance)
The LPA program is an:
"on-farm food safety certification program designed to help the red meat industry strengthen the food safety systems currently in place.
"Angus Pastoral Co. has achieved a Level 2 LPA, essentially a quality assurance standard, and the highest achievable level of accreditation within this scheme.
